Emerson Peek

Emerson is a bilingual educator, communications professional, and equity advocate. Emerson holds a B.A./B.S. from The Evergreen State College and an M.A. in Applied Spanish from Middlebury College. He currently serves as both Language Access and External Relations Specialist in the Public Information Office and part-time Instructor of Spanish and English for speakers of other languages at Wenatchee Valley College. 

Through his graduate work in Spain, his emphasis on cultural curiosity and his community involvement with the Peshastin Community Council, Our Valley Our Future and NCWEA, Emerson actively works to create inclusive spaces where people can honor their full, multi-layered selves and contribute meaningfully to their communities. He lives in Peshastin and enjoys spending time with his family, being outside and finding new adventures, large and small.
